Create your own Bard Books

Recommended ages 8 – 16

Roll on in and join this free creative workshop where you will be able to piece together your own 'Bard Book', a side-stitched notebook handsewn with waxed linen thread and bound with snippets of pages from vintage Shakespeare books, as well as an assortment of coloured and textured papers. Afterward, you can use your notebook to record all of your Shakespearean musings or simply sketch some memories of the day.

It takes approximately half an hour to an hour to complete a book and the first 'rolling' session will be kicking off at 10am with opportunity for people to join in the fun over the next few hours.

All the pre-prepared materials, beautifully illustrated instruction sheets and all the tools/equipment for use during the workshops will be supplied.

Children under 16 are to be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the Auditorium building lawn.
